Post Ray Lewis....

Hello all...

I hope everyone is having a phenomenal day...I just wanted to make this post and find out what everyone think about the Ray Lewis trial, do you think that he should have been acquited, or what?

I personally think that it the prosecution and police were just so pressed to find a culprit, and being that Ray Lewis was involved, this big, high-profile athelete--that made them all the more gung-ho to prosecute him. He didn't have a knife, he didn't stab anyone, and as far as I can tell he wasn't in the fight! Now his friends, while they were in the fight, no one has been able to make any truthful point that either one of them actually did the stabbing!

I think that the most that they should have been charged with is assault, gang/group violence, or something along those lines...granted SOMEONE did the stabbing, and I think that the police investigators and prosecution should have taken more time to find more evidence and more suspects.

That's just my 2 cents worth....What do you think?

I saw Ray's testimony on Tuesday. After hearing his testimony I believe that Ray had the wrong crowd around him. You know with being a celebrity, everyone wants to be in your company (not like I know from experience). I think this is what this was. From his testimony, he had a group of "friends" with him, then at the club, someone he knew knew someone that needed to get in. With that you don't know or have a way of knowing who these people are. I guess you just assume that they are okay. But to make it short, now that Lewis has gotten off.. I think he will be mindful of the company he keeps. I don't think he had anythihg to do with it though. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong group of people.
