Hmmm...How did I miss this thread??

It's actually a question I've wondered about many a time...You hear of all these celebrities that are XYZ or ABC and I'm just like WHERE ARE THE SIG KAPS AT>!>!!?!? LOL I mean, we've DEF been around long enough, it's not like we don't have hundreds of thousands of past and present members... I'm confused. Ah well.

Many women should bow to Sarah Weddington, who is a SK. (She was the one who successfully argued Roe v Wade)

Many people might not know this, or even know the movie but 'Mystic Pizza' was written by a SigKap. I don't know her name or anything but if you watch it you'll see some SigKap references (you have to look though). We always have a new member sleepover just before initiation and we encourage our girls to watch this movie. It's just a tradition of ours.

Also...Dr. Suess was a SigEp but his wife was; yes, that's right...a SigKap! Not only are there SigEp secrets hidden in his books but also some SigKap secrets. Don't ask me what they are but I think I heard there was something in 'The Grinch Who Stole Christmas'

Just thought you guys would like to know!

let's not give too much away there cara!
i don't necessarily like 'mystic pizza' either, but i love the fact that julia roberts is in it. she should be an honorary sigkap.
it's great to watch it a few times, cuz each time you watch it you see something new.

yeah, about that

Its true about having to watch Mystic Pizza a few times to get it. Actually, the first time I watched it I came across one part and was like "WHOA...I can't believe this character brought that up!!!" (if you've seen it, you may know what I'm talking about) Then I watced it almost a year later, expecting to hear that part again, and it wasn't there! I rewinded it and still couldn't find it. It was really weird. But I noticed alot more lavender and maroon this time

Wasn`t the one of the first American women in space a Sigma Kappa ?

As well as the FIRST WOMAN SENATOR, and the FIRST WOMAN to sit in both houses.
