Does the doctor work?

Why is it that my favorite songs on my CD's are always the ones that get scratched to the point where you can't listen to it anymore? Anyway I was wondering if anybody has used the Game DR. , or Disc Doctor thing that is supposed to fix scratched CD's. I saw it at the store today but I didn't feel like dropping the fourty bucks on it untill I found out it worked or if it was just a scam.

Never heard of it or known anyone who has used it.
Why not burn yourself a new cd? It's more cost effective.

Can you copy a scratched CD and get a perfect sound quality on the new one?

Dude, it probably won't burn correctly.

As far as the game doctor goes, don't get it. Go to walmart or target and get a $10 version that basically does the same thing. I got mine from target and it worked to get some of the scratches I have on DVDs, CDs, and Xbox games. But it doesn't get rid of everything. I doubt the game doctor does either.
