my family is going to be moving into a house next month, which by the way is absolutely gourgeous. anyway, my new bedroom is going to be a challenge. first it is the only bedroom upstairs complete with a bathroom. so the second floor will be my personal suite
so i have some ideas on how i want to decorate the stairway. but the real challenge is the room itself. we are renting it from a family who will be leaving the state for two years (military) and they decorated that room for their younger kids. there are five walls in the room. one is painted dark red, one is purple, one is yellow, one is blue, i forget the other color. and the bathroom is yellow. extremely colorful. the family is reluctant to repaint the room so i may have to stick with the colors. if i do, what can i do to tone down the color of the room? should i pick one color that is on the wall and use that for my bed or something? help!
