Where is everyone??? I've missed you ladies...did you fall and can't get up? Is Clarise there, is she choking? (Sorry, that last one is from Sleepless in Seattle)...

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and I hope there is some more activity on this board!

Hey ladies!

I've been around the boards...I figured some of you might be going through work week or even Rush week so that could explain why the forum's been quiet lately.

Okay, you guys might think I'm a total nutcase, but I've actually had 2 dreams already about the new IHQ website. Sometimes I'll wake up at 6 in the morning and I'll be tempted to go on the computer... but then I'll eventually fall back asleep. And then later on that day I'll go online and it's not here yet. Katie mentioned something about switching servers...but no one thought that it would take this long!

Yes, things have been a little slow around here lately! I figured that its just the end of summer/beginning of school doldrums and people are busy.
I am sooo frustrated! I keep checking the AGD website and a couple of times it faked me out because it took a little while to upload and I thought, "Yay, the new site is up!" And then the old site comes on.

Its making me very aggro and that bothers me because its not in my nature to be annoyed! Come on IHQ, get this thing up already!

I know, I check the website every morning to no avail. I am so bored at work and I am bored with surfing my regular websites.

I wanna go back to school, but even then I won't be able to see everyone. This stinks!

I've been away at recruitment activities- it's been some LONG nights decorating!! Tomorrow is Bid Day and I can't wait to hear about the girls we got

Sorry we have recruitment too!! We have 300 girls going through and we were only expecting 240. It is UP from 230 from last year!!! YEAH!!! So we have our first round of parties tonight!!! YEAH!!! We are so excited! I hope everyone has a great rush! Oh and we have about 8 legacies going through which is more than we have EVER had! Oh and the IHQ Website may not be up until December, that is what our LC told us! Well see you all as soon as rush is over! Loyally, Sarah

Ridiculous I tell you! Why in the world may it take to December??? And why didn't they mention that when we asked about it? Aaggghhhh!

I may not be a web genius, but I know that it doesn't take that long to transfer updated and new information to a new server (that's the reason Katie gave me). I know they're dealing with an external web company, but if it's going to take that long I'd suggest that they get a new one!

I encourage you to email Katie at kjolley@alphagammadelta.org. At Convention they said it would be up after Convention was over. Then it was August 1st. Then it was "I'll email you to let you know when." Now it's December? Do they not know that getting it up is a big priority? According to the 1999-2001 Convention report, IHQ said it is a big priority!!! Good grief!

OK, december does kind of blow, considering I am redoing my chapters webpage and was hoping to have new stuff up when rush came along for them. Howvere i know from dealing with what IHQ is going thru that it can sometimes take as long as 5 weeks to get things straight. But dec is kind of ridiculous. But it coulf be well worth the wait. At least were getting a new one. Besides i know that IHQ is dealing with some other major issues currently.

Not that they don't have to deal with stuff all the time, but what's up over there?

If we have to wait til December, that website better be asking me if I want fries with my order
