Smile What is/was your favorite childhood Toy?

Mine, was a toss up between My Strawberry Shortcake Figurines that actually SMELLED like strawberries and my Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls.

I also liked My Little Pony, with the comb-able tail mane!

Thumbs up

Hmmmm, I have to dig wayyyy back into my grey matter to remember some of these.

I lovvvved my pick-up sticks, Mr. Potato Head, bucket of 100 green army men (and some came with parachutes!), Holly Hobbie cake mix--never made it, I just liked looking at the picture on the box ! I know I'm forgetting some but you know what they say about getting old. The memory goes first!

BTW, I still have some of these toys.

Cabbage Patch dolls! I had so much fun with them!
I never liked Barbie's. I used to take their heads off LOL!
I also like My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite doll.
You know what doll always freaked me out...Cricket. Her eyes would move side to side. Just really weird!

Thumbs up Oh, yeah and...

I must admit, I was a bit of a tomboy because I loved HOT WHEELS, I used to collect a bunch of those bad boys, build a track and try to crash em.

Got to shout out the G.I. Joe with the Kung Fu Grip!

And Transformers....

Ha, Ha! I hated that oven! The light bulb broke and I didn't like to cook anyway.

I liked the CPD's also but never got one. The one doll I really did want was the tina Turner doll. I still have this one. She came with a swivl head so you could change her hair from blond streaks to dark brown.

ZTAMiami--To this day, I can't STAND Barbies. I had 2 and never played with them.

I liked those strawberry shortcake dolls, too, especially the sister (wasn't her name orange blossom or something?). Man, my easybake was no joke, either. The cookies weren't the best, though. My mama wouldn't let me have my little pony or the Barbie Dream House...

I would have to say my absolute fave was a tossup between

My barbie RV (I think it was called a motorhome back then) It was the BOMB!! It was, like three feet long and had a shower, furniture and dishes for barbie and her friends. Maybe it was barbie's tourbus or something.

Shrinkydinks (for some reason, I just really dug them)

Fashions by Me - it was a toy where you rubbed over plates with
black pencil and then you colored in the drawings. It was simple and kinda dorky, but it was one of my faves.

Baby grows up - It was a baby that you pulled the string on and she grew into a toddler.

Now that I'm thinking, I used to LOVE MAD LIBS!!

Y'all remember that game where you interviewed your friends and asked them to fill in the blanks with a certain word (noun, adjective, verb, thing, place, etc) and then you read the story back with the inserts...that was so fun.

Mad Libs were the "must have" item at Elementary school book fairs! Remember them? I loved to read so I'd get my little sheet and order about $60 worth of books! Needless to say after my parents saw it I'd have to go back and erase over 1/2 of them! LOL

Im favorite toy was legos!! I loved building stuff! Unlike most of you, I loved Barbies! I had houses, a car, tons of clothes, shoes that were always getting lost! LOL

Same thing here! I used to be the ONLY person hypeed to go to the book fair.

One of my favorite toys was my Teddy Ruxpin doll because he talked. I also like my Fisher Price lawnmower that blew bubbles so that I could act like I was helping my grandfather. I also had a FP kitchen and I just thought I could cook and would make everyone sit and eat my plastic food.
