Favorite Nalia or Org Item

What is your favorite piece of paraphernalia that you have received/purchased since being a member of your org? It can be anything that is ORG specific.

FYI FYI FYI:

Well I have several favorites (were you surprised):

1. My Delta artwork
2. Figurine: Delta Girl jumping rope
3. DST Photo Album that this Delta named Kelli bought me
4. Elephant desk thingie (LOL -- 4 elephants together) one of my favorite students bought it for me one Christmas.

5. FORGOT -- my Coca-Cola Stuffed Elephant that is wearing a red and white striped tank top. Ellie was given to me at my show from my mama.

A six foot paddle made by the line for which I was Dean in undergrad. It has the letters cut out vertically at the top, then a heart in the middle built to open like a french door. When your open it the inside says "What words can we use, to say how we feel". Then the bottom of the paddle has all of their names woodburned into it and their crossing date.

I think my favorite gifts are:

1. The silver pin case with the crest engraved on the top and my name and Spring 2002 on the bottom.

2. Pearl bracelet with small elephant charm at the hook.

3. A lamp with a jar filled with peppermints as a base and two Delta girls with the symbols on the shade. The best part about this gift is that when you turn the light on, my name pops up. It's only visible when the light is on. It is sooooo cute!

That does sound nice!!

My stepmother bought me back the most beautiful elephant from Jamaica and I really love it!

I also made a crimson and cream rya rug last year that has been stolen from my crib twice. It had pyramids thorughout the pattern.

An eighites delta tee shirt design that a Zeta friend gave me. Classic 80's all the way! No oneelse can find the design and they loathe me for having the only one. HHHAHAHAHHAH

Talking I, too, have more than one

1) A blanket made for me by my spec.
2) My Founder's Paddle (I LOVE THIS!!!!)
3) A figurine that I bought from the Kappa's Conclave a couple years ago.
4) An AKA print that some friends gave me that is matted and framed (the one with the ladies eating cake, all orgs are represented in the print, by colors).

*crossing shirt ~ I still have it although it is now light black and all my info has peeled off the sleeves. Spring '93, what can I say? LOL!!! It's been retired...

*black pearl necklace

*wooden plaque w/painted crest made for me by my NEOs

* tote bag with crest on one side and covered with our sorority symbol on the other side

*gold lavalier

I have a lot of red/black combination items (Old Navy tote bag, beach bag, hand bags, red shoes w/black soles, red/black/silver Sketchers, PJ's/lingerie, etc.) although they wouldn't necessarily be classified as para.

Now all my stuff is not red/black or in my other colors. But if I'm shopping and I see something cute and wearable/usable in SLU colors, more than likely I'll buy it.

Talking

My favorite is the Minnie Mouse that my spec (Chickenlittle- )
brought for me. Minnie's dress has DST on the front of it! And when you squeeze it, it says "Ooo-oop!"

And my car license plate.
