There hasn't been much activity on the KKG site lately, so I thought I'd get something going.

Where would you like to see another Kappa chapter started?

I would love for the Miss. State (ET) chapter to be recolonized and a chapter started at USM. My chapter (Delta Rho) is the only KKG chapter in Mississippi right now.

I was a freshman at Ole Miss when ET was colonized and was awed by the experience. All the Big Blue Owls were there, of course! I was crushed when I heard ET closed after only 7 years. It boggled my mind because we pledged an awesome group of ladies.

I would LOVE to see another Canadian chapter! Both the University of Ottawa or the University of Western Ontario would be great choices!

College of Charleston would be another good choice. We presented there a few years back, but another group was chosen.

I just saw where AOII is colonizing at Miss. State. I wonder if Kappa was considered and not chosen or if Kappa was asked but declined to present. I am officially pouting now!

AGD started a chapter there, but it has since folded. The AOIIs might try to work something out with them for their house, according to the other thread. The housing issue could have been a deal breaker if Kappa was asked since the Fraternity helped Georgia Southern and USC with their houses.

In case you are interested...

KKG had national reps at Santa Clara University this past Friday and Saturday...they are competing with 7 other sororities to start a chapter here, and expansion plans are moving quite quickly. According to the current timeframe, the sorority will be chosen, housed and have 30-60 members by the end of May. KKG and Tri-Delt are the leading contenders to expand here.
