I haven't been a collegian in a long time, but I remember that meetings were the one thing (besides initiation) that you did not miss, unless you had a class or a serious excuse-given to the secretary 24 hours before the meeting (well-other than illness).
No incentives-but fines-got our butts to meetings. We always had fun during our meetings though....some off-the-wall awards might work like "sister of the week" or something else to recognize a sister who did something goofy or wild.... We passed around the "get your a$$ to class can" where you had to put a quarter in for every class you had skipped that week. At the end of the semester, there was a drawing for the $$.... I don't remember the criteria for having your name in the hat, but maybe meeting attendance could be a factor.
