George Foreman Grill

Does anyone else own one and use it on a regular basis? Tonight is the first time I'm using my new one (I've used one before). Does anyone have any good recipe recommendations, or a favorite dish they make on it?? I'd really like to cook some steak on it, but I'm a bit nervous about how it would turn out! ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!

Everyone I know at SDSU has one. The Foreman is a college staple, unlike my Showtime Oven which gets hardly any play.

Chicken Drumsticks often dont balance right though, but I cook pork chops, hot dogs, chicken filets and theighs, and coutless other stuff too.

One time I got really drunk and put some carrots on there. They actually turned out really good.

I have a George Foreman grill. I cook steak on it all the time, and it turns out nice! Don't be afraid to cook steak on it!

I cook everything on it - steaks don't come out that well on it, but everything else does.

Burgers are easy, chicken, hot dogs, anything that is thin enough or flat enough to cook through evenly. I know a guy who cooks teriyaki chicken wings on his and they are apparently pretty good. Steak should work fine.

I cook just about everything on my foreman - steaks, burgers, sausages, pork chops, tofu, grilled cheese sandwiches.

i can't live without my foreman!

I cook pretty much everything on it. I love how it cooks everything evenly too- i have trouble doing that on the stovetop.

Make sure you wipe it down between uses so the flavors don't stick to it. Nothing like making a grilled cheese the day after your roommate makes fish on it and doesn't clean it. YUCK!

I love grilling chicken fingers with it!
I ate cooked veggies with it to...it was pretty good.

I just wish I can take the metal part and put it in the dishwasher after each use instead of wiping.

God, if the grilling surface came off so that they could be washed, that would make the foreman the best thing since sliced bread

i agree about the cleaning part. esp. after you cooked this really greasy hamburger or something.

word of advice, at least from my experience, always cook it longer than it says to. there is a lil "timer guide" for cooking various pieces of meat. I will cook a piece of fish at the "well-done" time and the middle will still come out kinda squishy and it will need another minute or two. we don't need anyone getting food poisening.

i loooooooooooooooove my george foreman grill.. BEST grilled cheese sandwhichs ever.. so healthy too, i use soy cheese and wheat bread.. i'm a vegetarian, not vegan, but it is so much mor ehealthy to do it my way.. and i hardly taste the difference

my dad is obsessed with his new foreman grill. he got it the day after christmas and cooked with it every night that i was home for the rest of break.

lol, i've had mine since my days in the Corps dorms. I even constructed a crude "porch" out my window, utilizing a piece of scrap plywood, two shoelaces, and the hooks outside on the wall to grill on. All was fine until the day i put a little plant out there and Corps Staff decided that was too much and made me take it down.



I've done steaks, burgers, chicken breasts(for fettucine alfredo), brats(ooooh sooo good) and other sausages.

Stan? Carrots? what the hell did you drink that night?

I gave a G. F. grill to my mother for Christmas 2001. At first, she looked at me like I was nuts to give it to her. After a few days, it was her favorite gift of the year. She cooks steaks and burgers on it all the time.
