AchtungBaby80 - The Wheel of Time is a fantasy series by Robert Jordan which is now made up of 10 books. There will be more, but who knows how many. It has many complex and interweaving storylines, and some great characters. If you are interested, and aren't afraid to get addicted to the series, pick up the first book - The Eye of the World

OUlioness01 - Unfortunately not, it just came out on January 7th, so it is only out in the hardcover. I finished the book in three days. When did you start reading the series? I started about the time when Winter's Heart came out.

Mr. Munchkin is crazy about those books! We were in line the day it came out, and he read it in four days flat (these are looooong books!). He definitely thought it was great, and he has all of them at home. I'm not into fantasy novels myself, so I won't be reading it anytime soon. Robert Jordan was here signing copies this past weekend, but we found out too late.

I started reading the Wheel of Time series my senior year of high school, so about 2 years ago. I just ordered the Crossroads of Twilight off of amazon.com yesterday

The books range from about 600 to 1000 pages I want to say. They are pretty thick books, but worth it in my opinion.

That's because it was mostly transition and set up. I won't say anything more, as not to ruin it for others. I really liked some of the scenes though, and it did hit on all the major plotlines, which was nice.
