And I still have one more class tommorrow. But I come across some good luck one of my classes has turned in an internet class so I will not have to go to class anymore just turn my assignment in by e-mail.

Hi ladies! I know that most major universities here in Maryland started school today, so I wanted to revive this old thread. How is everything going for everyone? I miss school so much that I think I am going to take classes in addition to working full time. It's hard to let go of something you have known for 21 years. I'd love to get my BS in Biology (I have my BS in Chemistry right now). I figure I'm half-way there since I took most of the classes already. Anyway, let me know how things are going. What classes you're taking and which ones you absolutely hate!

Have a wonderful semester sisters!

My schedule is so great I have 2 internet classes and one class that I have to attend one weekend a month. This semester is even better than the last. The only slight issue that I have is my work schedule. I work really early in the morning @ 6:45a.m. Monday through Thursday. I've had a lot of homework this week so I've been working hard on it.

Bye

My orientation is Sept 5th...which i guess would make sept 8th my first day of class...so I still have a couple weeks to go.

I'm moving up there on Saturday! I'm so excited! I think next tuesday will be my first day on campus! (i've driven by it a few times, but I've never walked on it.)
I don't know my schedule at all because silly office people didn't have my summer address (although I know for certain it was on my application)...so I have to go pick it up next week.

My sisters here start school next thursday! they're having their first meeting on wednesday (usually it's sunday, but i guess cuz of the holiday they changed it).

PSLAM
Good Luck with recruitment everyone!

We don't start until September 29th... So I still have a while, which is nice for settling into my new life. But, school is welcomed at this point. I am bored!

Thumbs up

We started on Monday (Aug 25), so today is the last day of the first week. I'm excited about my classes this semester. I'm taking a class to lear to speak Greek! How cool is that? There's only like 8 people in the class and the teacher is really good.

Good luck in your classes everyone!

Well, SINCE I'm a senior, I decided to take fun classes like YOGA, jewlry making, pottery, and Photography... They are all great anf pretty theraputic but I feel like the professors are expecting us to be professionals by the end of the semester. But don't be surprised if SOMEONE starts their own line of Phi Sig Paraphanelia.. with tons of knick knacks.. keep your eyes open!!

Cool

Just got back about 20 min ago!

Wow what a day! It was orientation for all of us MLIS students - there are 53 of us. Turns out a friend from whenI was undergrad is taking the same program! So cool!
Everything sounds good and intersting, but also sounds like I'll be working my ass off!
I'm soooooooooo tired right now, can't really go into details...but I did make some new friends
