Ladies, where do you buy your...

Okay, this is an off-shoot thread from the "hate wearing bras" thread earlier. As I threw away my second bra this month, I realize the time is approaching to purchase new bras and correspondingly, panties. Ladies, where are the best stores you have found for purchasing bras and panties? What are your favority brands and sub-brands for bras? What's your favorite panty type: bikini, thong, brief, other cotton, silk, microfiber? What's your favorite bra style: demi, full, underwire, push-up, etc.?

We know we hate 'em, but most of us (especially those of us "blessed" with some errr...weight... in that area) gotta wear 'em, and they're expensive as all get out! Help out those of us entering the savage and brutal world of women's undergarments: where do you buy your bras and panties?

Marshall Field's and Victorias Secret, and Title IX Sports for workout bras.

As a member of the "well endowed" club, bras are very important to me. My absolute favorite is a style by Wacoal, which I got at Field's. It's underwire and fabulous. Victoria's Secret has some good ones as well, but I don't always love all of their stuff -- it's more hit and miss with them.

I have heard that Frederick's of Hollywood has good bras, and I've also been wanting to check out the Bra Smyth catalog -- they're online at www.brasmyth.com and they have a great selection.

I prefer underwire. As for panties, I love the second skin satin hipsters from Victoria's Secret. They are so comfortable. I wear a thong when I must (I HATE VPL more than is probably normal) but not if it's not absolutely necessary.

And that's more than anyone ever wanted to know about my underwear...

Express, Victoria's Secret, and, if you want to splurge -- La Perla!

Victoria's Secret. I love that store!!! If I could, I would buy stock there because I spent a lot of my money in that store.

well, seeing that i'm beyond "well endowed" (i wear a g cup) i must find my bras in certain specialty catalogs. i like the no wire underwire bras myself. they do the job but don't poke the heck out of you.
underwear, well, i like bikini style in satin or silky. thongs/g-strings sometimes. i used to love them, but not so much anymore.

I usually buy mine from Express, Victoria Secret, and Banana Republic

I wear thongs everyday unless I am working out, anything else to me is wayyyyyy uncomfortable, but if I'm working out I wear bikini breifs

I like bras with underwire and padding!!! I have a small chest (a smaller 34B cup) so to make up for what nature forgot to give me I use padding....man that's sad.

Oh well I don't mind the small chest all that much, I'd rather have that than a really large one, just my personal preference.

And now that everyone knows way more than they EVER should about my underwear, I am outta here

i totally agree with you. i'd rather have a small chest than the one i have. i totally don't understand why women want a chest as big as mine. tell me how much you like them when you have a constant backache and indents on your shoulders from your bra. oh and how about working out. no running here. i can seriously hurt myself by running with this rack.
i think i'm going to start a new thread about breast enhancement.

i buy from department stores a lot...if it fits and i like it i buy it. i do occasionally shop at Victoria's Secret though. underwear-bikinis are the best....thongs are darn uncomfortable so i avoid them unless it's a weekend night. and go for microfiber and silk...and underwire...sometimes padding

and i think that's more than some people need to know

I found a Warner's model I like at Kaufmann's (your basic mall anchor store) and got many of them. It is very, very hard to find a non-underwire bra without padding for some reason, and it completely irritates me. I like my boobs the size they are, and underwires are not always the comfiest thing.

I pretty much by my stuff exclusively from VS. You can't go wrong with the 5 pairs for $20. I love the cotton bikini panties.

As for bras, I have them in the same color as the undies, but not usually the same fabric. Last year I picked up a water bra at the semi-annual sale for $12 (they're usually $45!). Its not the comfiest thing in the world. I only wear it when I'm feeling a bit chubby and want to balance out my hips a bit by bumping myself up a size (from a C to a D).

I do have some undies that I got at the Sanrio store in Houston. I love to have a good laugh at the fact that I'm 22, in law school, and have Hello Kitty panties. Being grown up is over-rated. And if I can hang on to a little piece of my childhood, i'm all for it
