Thumbs up Impressed

On the 5th I was assigned to cover the Democratic Governor's watch party (which turned out to be victorious by around 6000 votes here in Oklahoma). I work for my university's news channel as a reporter so I cover these kinds of things.

I had the pleasure of meeting some undergrad and alumni brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha from the Langston chapter here in Oklahoma. It was very impressive to meet a group of men (and there were quite a few of them in attendance) that were so involved in the political process.

I'm in some ways actually envious that your brothers at Langston take the political process so seriously and get so involved where mine (at least at the undergrad level) are for the most part not nearly as active or interested.

I just wanted to relay how impressed I was with Alpha Phi Alpha's involvement as they were the ONLY GLO of any sort in attendance. I've seen a lot of talk reading your thread about how it's hard to make a difference. As slim as the margin was in my state groups like this DID make the difference.
