Am I the ony one?

Am I the only person that isn't doing anything for Halloween?

I volunteer at the Welcome Center at 7:30 am and then I have to take a test in my Morality and the Law Class. so i am studying.
I've never been a big fan of Halloween-- anyone else have the same sentiments?

I had kids come by looking for candy at 10:00. Isn't that a little late? Then they gave me attitude when I said that I ran out of candy an hour ago. They did this to me! Dumb kids! They need to go home and go to bed.

It's ten o'clock. Do you know where your children are? Yeah, they are at my door looking for candy and rolling their eyes at me.

I'll join the "uncelebratory" group. Actually, this is the first year since I can't remember when that I've not hosted or attended some sort of Hallloween costume party. There are decorations outside my house, but for some reason none of my roomies or I bought any candy, so we've had to keep all the lights low so we wouldn't have any door ringing. I feel kinda bad, but it's been a stressfull week so oh, well. Anywho, I've been watching TV Halloween specials & surfing the 'net this evening after returning home from work. Halloween is one of my fave holidays, and I'm rather disappointed that I didn't find out about any of the Halloween events going on nearby this year. The Pikes here usually have a costume party at Bongo Johnny's (a local club), but I didn't hear anything about it this year. Anywho, I think my house is haunted!!! :: (Okay, maybe not, but I have been hearing some rather strange, inexplicable noises nearly every night lately when I tried to go to sleep). Anyone else having a chilling experience lately?

Well, tonight I volunteered for "project halloween" which is a thing where a bunch of us college students from different houses meet at the police dept for different shifts to patrol the streets to make sure the kids are all right; they know that if they have trouble to come to one of groups--We all wear bright green st pats sweatshirts (a must-have for all umr students cuz st pats is the hugest thing around here) and have glow sticks that the PD hands out. They also give us bags of candy. We get into groups of 10 and walk down busy streets, always at least one cell phone in the group in case we need police assistance. So I did that until 9 then came home and called my mom since I haven't talked to her in a while; we talked for like an hour about random crap and things that have happened... and now I'm feeling kinda sick/tired so I don't think I'm gonna go out even though I only have one class tomorrow and no homework... I'm okay with it though--I've had SO much fun helping other people plan their costumes that I don't feel like I've missed out on anything

I worked tonight and just got home. I guess it wasn't too bad not doing anything for Halloween. It was slow at work and I got out early.

kind of bummed.. for the past two years I spent halloween at awesome parties.. and this year - when I transfer to a BIGGER school, I did pretty much nothing.

I went to a haunted house though, and I thought it would be really corny, but I will admit I was very SCARED. Oh well. time for bed.. i have an 8 am class

My sedate but fun Halloween...

I absolutely love Halloween; it's my favorite holiday! I pretty much sat on the porch giving out candy and chatting with my neighbors while my hubby took the girls around. We have a great neighborhood for Halloween; tons and tons of kids! And I really get a kick of seeing them all dressed up like that

I didn't do squat. Halloween just isn't as fun as it used to be.
