ADPi Website is Revamped! What do you think?

The Pride Online Section remains unchanged but I hope they have big plans for that as well.

I'm really excited. It looks good. It just doesn't seem like all the content is still present...but then again, I really didn't look hard! I'm with you, I hope they have big plans for Pride Online as well!

i like the new site, except that it does not list chapters.

Ah, I get to be the first voice of dissent...

The new site frustrates me, and if I had a hard time navigating it, how can some pnm find her way through it? I was looking for a picture of our pin (for the thread on badges) and had the hardest time even finding one lousy picture of it! Compare that to the lovely picture of our badge as one of the first things you saw on the old site.

You can show thousands of pictures of happy women, but pnms want to see the sorority pin, the Alpha pin, the colors, the crest - the things that distinquish us from the rest of the crowd.

The old site was us. It was special. It was different. It was classy.

The new site is still nice, but is just like all the rest. *sigh* I expect more from the "First and the Finest".

Last year, a woman I knew was rushing, saw our site, and was actually frustrated that there was no ADPi chapter on her campus because she thought our site was the best. Now, we no longer stick out.

I will temper my rant by saying that I haven't looked at the other sororities' sites in the past few months. But I really miss our old site.

yeah so is it just me or is there a lot Less on the website now??? i dunno i think if there was a combination of the old and new i would like it better, i really miss the old one now... and if they went and changed the outside, why not change pride online? it feels old and stale to me now... and you know what i really wish? that there were archives of the forums.... yeah, that'd be great.... anyways i'm off to do work

I second that! There really does seem to be a lot less on this new website!

And I know what you mean about missing the old website now too.... When I first saw the new website, I thought, all excited, "Ooooh!" And then, once I looked around, I thought, disappoitedly, "ahhh."

I know what you guys mean about a lot less on the site. I think some of what was taken away could be ok, but the fact that the listing of chapters was taken off gets to me. I know when I was going through cor, I looked on the nationals site to find out as much as I could and used the link to the chapter to find out about the chapter specifically too.

Well for those interested I thought people may want to know what nationals is telling me is the reason that there isnt a list of chapters and website links anymore.

Due to security issues with personal contact information being made available on chapter?s websites, we are, at this time, not linking chapter websites to the non member?s section of our site. These pages will be made available in the members? sections in the coming months. We understand that having non-members have access to chapter websites is an excellent recruitment opportunity and this decision came about after much discussion about the safety of our members.
