Deep Throat was a very popular porno flick in the 1970's. The name was used to describe the unknown man who revealed Watergate secrets to Woodward and Bernstein.

Did you know that they are making a musical out of the porn "Debbie Does Dallas"? Apparently they are making it a pg version. I'm not sure how that is possible--I've never seen the porno.

that this thread would be about the unnamed source in Watergate. Student journos at UofI think they know who it was, they figured this out in a class this year.

I do not remember the source exactly, but my prof is no joke, so I don't think that this was false information. In my women & the media class, we learned that Linda Lovelace was forced to "deep throat" because a gun was held to her head the whole time.

That is true. A gun was put to her head and she was forced to make the movie. I think it was her husband or boyfriend that put the gun to her head.
