Blizzard’26

Where are you at? How’s it going?

I’m in western PA and there is about one inch per hour…

We're in north Georgia. We have only gotten cold rain but my daughter near Athens (y'all remember "Ballerina"?) has 4 inches of ice outside her door.

However, the roads are soaked here and the temperature will plunge to the low 20s tonight. All the local school districts are closed due to potential icy roads.

West Michigan- this is the least snow we've had in a weekend lately! It's frigid cold though. We got lucky with this, but have had 59" of snow this year before this weekend. I think we got 1-3 inches this weekend.

Birmingham, AL - lots of places closing tomorrow mostly because of possible ice. Publix actually closed all their stores here early today. We'll be fine after tomorrow as no more precip is forecast. But it will be cold all week.

I'm somewhere in the lower 48 watching my ten day weather forecast & planning my shopping/errand schedule around any "warmer" days, LOL. Rec'd four inches of snow atop two old inches.

I am in California and it’s not snowing but my family in Northern Ohio received a lot of snow. Suburbs had a boil water alert due to broken water mains

I’m in Terre Haute, Indiana; it’s -3 degrees this morning. We have 10 inches of snow and MANY places are closed today—public buildings as well as Indiana State U and Rose-Hulman. Crazy cold and still a little breezy. We’re in for the long haul on this cold wave.

Our daughter lives in Nashville near the Vandy campus—she’s had no power since yesterday noon. She’s okay because she has two gas fireplaces and a gas stove. But apparently much of the South has no power.

(And we have a President who on Saturday said this storm PROVES “global warming” is a hoax because it’s so COLD! (Never mind that the correct term is CLIMATE CHANGE…)

19 inches and still going strong in Massachusetts. However, I will add the happy disclaimer that this is the floofiest and lightest snow I have ever had the pleasure of shoveling!

I’d say here, we are at about a foot. But I’m not planning on going anywhere because work is cancelled and there’s a severe weather advisory.

It’s hard to measure when you’re so on top of things you shovel every hour

(Actually I was/am just super bored!)

Not much snow. But temperatures have been between -15 and -21, without the windchill. But then again, that’s normal for us Minnesotans. It’s 3 now. Finally, a heatwave.

We got like 9 inches over the weekend and the low last night was like -4. Tonight was the first time I went out in three days. Just to the grocery store. I’m going a little stir crazy!

While I'm further downstate I was assisting with recruitment at Syracuse this past week remotely. It was so cold up there a poor girl up there got frostbite going between houses

They changed the rules of pref attire and told the PNMs they could wear sweats and sweatshirts, just as long as they were warm.

We got about a foot here and the rest of the week is going to be in the teens, so I doubt the snow will be melting anytime soon.

I can’t even imagine upstate NY! I’m way south of that and we had bulldozers out there moving snow today.
