What have you ordered from Ebay?
I think Ebay is great but I wonder if I should keep ordering. I know not to order anything I can't afford to be fake or lose, but I wish there was more of a safeguard against fraud.
My first experience was good. I ordered a Breakfast at Tiffany's Barbie...b/c I love Audrey!
My second was a total sham. I ordered my mom a clock for Christmas and it was not what they said it would be and it didn't even work.
What has it been like for you? Are you too scared to try or are you a regular seller/buyer?

E-Bay is super... you can find ANYTHING there! I like to buy clothes for cheap! Just don't invest too much in anything because you never know!
If I want something enough to pay two or thre hundred dollars, I won't buy it on E-Bay. I would rather go make sure I get the real, quality item at a store, even if it means paying five hundred or so.

I've only bought AGD related items on eBay...a songbook, a squirrel toggel bracelet, and a ribbon shaped lapel pin.

EBAY rocks. I've ordered a couple of books, some nursing stuff, and even a vjhriufahreoih...which if I weren't mumbling, would have said, a Vanilla Ice CD. Ok, I'm ashamed, but I wanted it. Anyhoo....everything I've ever ordered had turned out just like they said it would...luckily, I've never had any problems.

I've gotten a lot of varied stuff from eBay - a N64 game, a "fake spade", a piece from my mom's everyday china, a pink Hello Kitty cordless caller ID phone, some Lego Mindstorms (christmas present for boyfriend)...I think that's everything

I am a super huge ebay junkie. I have purchased a lot of great stuff through ebay, and it is especially cool if you are a collector.
Most of the stuff I have bought through eBay goes towards my random collections. i went through a "zebra" phase where everything I owed just had to be zebra print or else I would go nuts. I went through a "wonder woman" phase and bought a bunch of cool collectibles. I have also found some really cool books and deltasig stuff on there as well.
I have never bought anything expensive like a camera, or any type of electronic equipment on ebay though. I am still kinda wary about buying things like that on the 'net from strangers. I guess I'm just scared it won't work like it is supposed to. For all that "good stuff" I go to Best Buy
One of the best ways to safeguard yourself from fraud on Ebay is to check out the seller's profile. If they have ANY negatives, be sure to read up on it and see if maybe the negative comments were just in retaliation to a comment they might have made. Most GOOD sellers on ebay would more than likely be more than willing to correct a problem should you have a problem with it.

The Paul Simon Songbook, a very rare Paul Simon album. It was worth every penny.

I usually buy books (older romances and current Harlequins). I find that for most, sellers are genuine in the description of their products.
AGDPrincess70 - What a great buy! I was just talking about Jem with my husband (the topic: cartoons we would love to see back on tv) - Haven't seen Jem in many, many years. Am I dating myself?
