Well, We've come this far by faith...Brothers of Groove Phi. Trusting in our brotherhood...It hasn't failed us yet. I'd like to take this opportunity to extend a happy Founders Greeting to my 40,000 brothers who've captured the vision set forth by our founders back in 1962. I'm truly amazed when I look back on my 28 years of Groovin'. In 1974, we were the hated new organization on the yard at Clark College. Other organizations and the administration did everything they could to create stumbling blocks for us. It only made us stronger though and now we have young men entering the fold who's father's are Grooves. Could the third generation be far off. I think not. I have a six year old who already thinks he's a Groove and I'm cultivating all my nephews, cousins neighbors to explore this GLORIOUS FELLOWSHIP!

So fellas, lift that mug and take a sip for old Groove Phi. May God grant us yet another 40 years.
