Senior Send Off Ideas??

It’s that time of the year again where we have to say goodbye to our seniors

I’ve been working with my social media team to think of ideas to use on instagram but everything we think of has already been thought of first by other sororities on our campus and we don’t want to look like we’re copying or stealing their ideas.

What we’ve thought of has been senior quiz, guess the senior, or senior memories for sisters to write in with. Any other ideas y’all can think of?

Thanks!!

My chapter did a feature on each senior. She would send in a photo and some info on herself like name, major, and what being in her sorority means to her. Plus it's always nice seeing comments from all over the chapter showing love to them.

We had senior "wills," where the seniors would give a little something to someone else in the chapter. Sometimes it was literally something from their room at the house that they didn't want to take with them, sometimes it was advice or a heartfelt thank you...basically, whatever the senior wanted to "leave" to a non-graduating sister, with an accompanying speech. Sometimes seniors would leave stuff to more than one person. You could also have nongraduating actives create sendoff messages for the seniors, so there is reciprocity and direct recognition of the seniors.

This could be easily modified for online. Even some physical items could be mailed after the ceremony. The name could also be changed to something like "Senior Legacies" or something like that, if "will" sounds too morbid given the circumstances.

Depending on how many seniors you have and how far away they might live, perhaps you can have some sisters do a drive-by congratulations. Have a few sisters go to the senior's house and do the sorority chant while holding up signs or something. Obviously someone needs to let the senior know so that she can be home for the drive-by and maybe her family too. Then you can post the video clips to the social media feed. It doesn't have to be the whole chapter - maybe members can split up in teams of 4-5 girls who live locally to certain seniors. One of the members needs to be do the video though.
