Any Advice?

I am currently a freshman at a college in NJ. A few friends and I REALLY want to become ZETAS because of thier history and their sisterhood/brotherhood with the Phi Beta SIGMAS. I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice or helpful hints for us to help keep us focused, prepared and on the right track?

~And the answer is YES, I am technically a 'wannabe' Zeta Pryncess, but I'm going to try my damndest to become a true Blue (and White) Zeta.

Well first let me say that being a ZETA lady is indeed hard work and I think that me and my Soror's can agree on that you shouldn't say that you are a future ZETA, even if you are suppose one of my soror's from your school is on here and even though they don't know who you are they could be a little upset or bothered by the fact that you just know that you will be a futue ZETA. Its almost like you jinxing yourself...so all I am saying is watch what you say on here...

Now here is my advice...know the basic info...also you should know the reason why you wanna become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and not one of the other three...keep that GPA up and attend events and programs that they have on your campus so they will see who all is serious about it...Other than that just be strong and focused and if it was meant to happen then it will....

Well I will say this I agree with my soror, being a ZETA is hard, hard , hard and more hard work. We do things based upon Quality and that is important. If you are not a follower and if are a trendsetter with the idea to empower the community. then you will not only stay focused in joing our organization you will crave infomation, you will appreciate that Zeta is the many of FIRST.... have a love of sisterhood and you must already have finerwomanhood burned in your soul... Zeta is the light... to stay focused means to be involved.....Get involved and be yourself, because we Zeta's are know for our truth.....so I do not think it is wise to call yourself Zeta anything yet....Finally dont be a "wannabe" be a "gonnabe" actions speak louder than anything... Strive for perrrfection

I'd have to say that it is most unwise to call yourself Zeta - anything yet, for the main reason that you don't really know who reads GreekChat. What if someone from your university reads the Zeta board, figures out who you are by your disclosures, and takes issue with your using the name? Yes, we're happy that you're interested in our illustrious organization, but you're not a Zeta yet, and shouldn't refer to yourself in those terms.

Good luck with your process, and I do hope you'll get to legitimately call yourself a "Zeta Pryncess" very soon.
