Really, Its ok to quit. REALLY. Mr. Jordan,. you have like 3 Trilllion dollars. You dont need to work. If you are that bored and want to do something that gives back, join the military or be a cop, fireman, etc. We realy dont need you that bad for news. We'll be fine. I assure you. We now have Iraq, Terrorism, Anthrax, Enron, Mid-Term Elections and that whole sucky economy thing to worry about now. The front page is all full. Maybe we could find some room on page 8D of the paper (nex tto the Denis Rodman/Carmen Electra tidbit) to cover your now patheic attempts for media coverage. If you like, I could place a call to CNN to see if I can get you on that annoying crawl thingy on the bottom of the screen. Other than that, you need to quit. Its over. I can actually hear the fat lady singing, and she's singing your song.

Also, Garth, Cher and Babs: Werent we all PROMISED that the last time we saw yall a few years ago it was the farewell tours? How many farewell tours can you go on? Just get all old and strung out and leave us be, thank you.

I am stapeling a dollar to this memo for each of you. You are instructed to take it, go out and buy yourself some dignity.

Mr RedRose and I were discussing this last night. We came to the conclusion that nothing else in his life that fulfills him the way playing professional basketball does. Kinda sad, really...

judging by the title, i thought you were talking about strom thurmond...

anyway, jordan is so competitive, it's a wonder that it's not unhealthy. as long as his knees allow, he's still one of the top 5 players in the league, which is really amazing, considering his age.

I cannot stand Michael Jordan. He's got hot dogs, clothes, and if he comes out with one more shoe, I'm gona vomit.

Michael... you're coffin awaits.

Why is everyone hating on Michael? Maybe he just really likes playing basketball, so why shouldn't he do it as long as he can? Geez, I only hope that I can find something in life that I'm as good at and enjoy as much.

He may love basketball, but either stick with or or leave for good. I think he's just trying to get publicity and it's ANNOYING!

And he's obviously partly in it for the endorsements. I'm not sure he can get anymore.

Question Why not

After all, Roger Clemens is 40 and can still play, although baseball has different physical demands than basketball. Besides, Jordan's coming back with the former Boolais, not the Lakers -- I doubt the Wizards would be the fourth-championship roadblock for Sugar Shaq Diesel Daddy, Kid Kobe, Phil Jackson and Co.
