Nine-year-old wounded by arrow
A nine-year-old Floyd County girl remains hospitalized this morning after being struck in the head with an arrow.
Authorities say Amy Willoughby walked out her backdoor in Rome Tuesday and was hit with a 26 -inch wooden arrow.
Police say the girl's neighbor was shooting arrows at a practice target in his backyard. One of the arrows went through the fence and struck the girl.
At last report, Willoughby was listed in guarded condition.
On the news it said the arrow went into her head.
People need to be more careful.
