Hi! This is my first time utalizing the message board, so hopefully it can be a resourcefull tool for future reference. This is my question:

I hold the office of Second Vice-President which you all know educates the Membership Candidates about Sigma Alpha. It seems that the classes can become a little dull because of all the material that we cover in the short ammount of time. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make the classes more "exciting". Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The current second v-p at the Alpha Theta Chapter ROCKS (then again, I might be biased...she's my real lil sister).

One of the ideas that she has had was to have the girls pick out masks of an animal that they were simular to (She found some really cheap around Halloween time). Then the girls talked about their personalities and such to help them warm up to each other. This worked great as an ice breaker. Kind of hard to be afraid of someone when you're giggling.

Another idea that might work is to do team building exercises. You can get ideas through your college, State 4-H and FFA programs, and maybe even look in a bookstore.
