HI!

I'm new to GC with a daughter who is starting to think about all things college related - she'll be a high school junior next year and asked me yesterday if I was ever in a sorority. I was - Alpha Xi Delta way back in the '80's. So - things have clearly changed. Now it's recruitment, not rush - things seem a lot more structured and require more planning ahead, and I'm hoping you all can help me figure out how to help her have the best chances of success as she looks for her future home - her school and her tribe!

Looking forward to learning and helping her get ready as she begins her college search.

Welcome! You'll learn a lot here....and so will she. Since you say you "were" an AZD, does that mean you resigned your membership? If not, then you still "are" an AZD! (I'm assuming, of course, that you weren't expelled!) Greek membership is for a lifetime. If you still are a member, you might want to connect with your local alum group. They can be helpful in this process also.
