Age preference?
I'm now a 2nd year and after my first year of college I've realized I'm attracted more to older girls. My current interest is a early grad student but she and I are at the friends level. I really feel intimidated on how to bridge the age gap. She still communicates to me in a way that I'm younger than her.
Anywho anyone else have preferences?

My girlfriend for the last 1.5 years has been 2 years younger than myself (she's almost 22).

I don't date younger guys...with the exception of one that I haven't decided what will become of us...long story.
At any rate, I've dated too many younger guys in the past and have come to realize that for the most part their good for just dating and nothing more. They don't want to get serious cuz they're still young, and they are more likely to blow you off. Now I know that's not true of every younger guy, but I find that some of the guys my age or older just know what they want in relationships and life and are ready to be serious...
But I'm not ready to get serious again, so bring on the younger guys!

I won't even think of a relationship with anybody who's younger than I. Good, hard, experience has taught me that younger guys are accidents waiting to happen. Generally speaking I'll seriously consider anybody who's 22, preferably 25.
I'm 21, by the way.
Younger ones are fun to play with, however...

Panda,
If you like this older girl, you just have to show her that you are as mature as she is. I think most girls hang up about younger men is they don't want someone who acts like a kid. Go for it!

I am 21, and I only date guys who are 26 and up. Well...not THAT far up, lol. The oldest guy I have dated was 35, and I NEVER would have guessed til he told me. Guys my age are still in that "I wanna be a player" stage, and so caught up in having game, that they just can't be taken seriously. Sorry to the guys who are the exception, but you are vastly outnumbered!

Younger, younger, younger! Did I mention younger?
I like younger guys because in my experience, they are more fun, spontaneous and not set in their ways. Plus they can be so darn cute.
However, I would never do what Panda mentioned -- talk to a younger guy as though he is younger. To me, age doesn't make a difference in terms of how I communicate with someone.

One thing that attracts me to her is how she's settled a bit. She seems like the type I won't get a lot of drama from. Plus she still looks cute for her age....like that sort of young cute type of look.
She's actually not a grad student though. I found out she's got an internship somewhere close to campus but she'll be applying for grad school next year. Good for me that she'll be sticking close.

If you like her, go for it
I personally like guys at least a year or two older. If their my age for some reason it just doesn't click. And on the younger guys, well, I've dated them, but, they either want to get serious way too quickly or just want to date for a few weeks. *shrugs*

Anyone have any suggestions on bridging the gap? I try to talk to her as much as possible when I see her and also online.
