I just wanted to write about the trip I took to Boston this weekend, because it was one of the best times I have ever had.
We stayed in this not-so-nice, but livable hotel in Everet, a small town about 10 mins. outside Boston. Imagine the formal hotel room from Sorority Life. The whole reason why we went is because my friend is a music teacher and she bought and gets her sax fixed in Boston (Crazy, yes. I didnt understand it either, but hey its a trip to Boston.) Our first day we took the sax to the store so he could look at it, and did a lil walking around Everet. Didnt do much sightseeing at first cuz its a 6 1/2 hour drive and we were tired. Walked around Everet and then...went partying in Boston that night! It was SOOOO much fun. We got lost at first and you could definately tell we were tourist, but then we asked some people where to go and that's when they told us about Haymarket (a section of Boston), and we found this awesome bar called {color=green]O'Reilly's[/color]. It was like a medium size bar/danc club. It cost $10 cover, but was definately worth it, especially when you gott in and saw the extremely hot and fine guys in there. My friend and I were in heaven. These guys were well groomed, cute and had rhythm. Something you don't find in Rochester often going out. It's rare. The only thing that sucked was paying $4.50 for a cup of skunky beer. But we danced with a bunch of guys and had fun, so that's all that mattered.
Next day, we did a lil sightseeing. A guy from the hotel we were at gave us and a bunch of other people a tour. It was was saying stuff that most tour guides probably wouldn't. For example, Boston has the longest bridge in the US and such a number, I think he said Like 6,000 (?) have committed suicide off it since '95. Talk about a downer. Then we heard about the first Chocolate Factory and that Good Will Hunting wasnt filmed at Harvard but at, look to your right, Bunker Hill Communtiy College. It was an...unqiue tour

. Finally he let us off at the USS Constitution which was fun to see. We took pictures on the cannon they had

. We tour lil Italy and then went to my second fave place that we went too. I think its called the State Street Mall(?), not sure but whatever it was, its a shoppers paradise and I am an addict. I love the way they have their stores set up. I iwsh we could have it like that. My friend and I spent hours their looking. Unfortunately neither of us had actual money to buy anything, but I would have went broke had I off brought money. We ate in the mall with everyone and she made fun of me cuz I kept freaking out over the pigeons. I have a BIG fear of big birds (Ha ha the one from Sesame Street doesnt count) because of an incident that happened to my mother and I when I was 4). They kept swooping down really close and just would not go away and I will admitt I looked like a complete idiot ducking and squeaking everytime they came near. She laughed at me the whole time, except when one nearly took her head off. Ha Ha. Plus it was nice to look at all the hot guys (*ahem* male sports team from U of Vermont) and just the people and everything in general there. After that we managed to get lost on the T not once, but two times and she fell up the steps at the station, while I fell down them.
Later that night we visited Harvard, which is a very beautiful campus, however the towns people said there isnt much to do on campus and there really isnt.
At any rate we had an awesome time and plan on going back soon. The first time my friend went she said she didnt do anything ceot get her sax. Got sad on the ride back when we saw the sign that said Massachusetts Says Goodbye and Come Back Soon. We joke about how its not going to be the same going out in Rochester. But we are currently planning our next trip.I am even considering moving there possibly. Like 2 years from now or so.
Oh, the other thing that sucked is that on the way back, my friend was saying how she didnt want crumbs in her car, so I had gotten some on my CD case and rolled down the window to clean it off. The next thing I know a big HUGE gust of wind comes and blows the CD case right out my hand on the Innerstate. 72 CD's went out the window. My friend was trying so hard not to laugh and I was pissed for about an hour (My mom was like, "She didn't even pullover to see if you could get them?" Nope

Oh well, most were burned so I can get them again and a lot I only listened to a couple of songs on them, but still.) It was my dumba$$ fault. I did it a previous time and nothing happened. I think I had the window rolled up more though. So if you see any CD's laying on the MASS. Turnpike, they're mine!
And if you saw two goofy and laughing a lot (but attractive) girls wondering around Boston definately looking like tourist, it was us!
That's a little bit of my trip
