Odd things you collect
OK I'm bored at work, so I thought up a topic on here......
What type of stuff do you collect? Some people collect stamp, others its coins. Anything odd you collect?
For me, when I was younger I collected pencils. Not used ones, but new ones. And not plan ole fashion ones, but ya know the pretty and colorful ones that had designs or characters on it. I know a little odd, but hey that's why I started the thread.

Lisa Frank collector?
Anywho I used to collect comics. I live in San Diego so I went to the International Comic Convention every year but it's gotten sucky now and on top of that the economy is making vendors stingy on deals.
I used to collect pogs too and play that until it got played out.
Pokemon didn't really catch on to me.
Magic the Gathering card game didn't either.
Now I'm just focused on finding and downloading as many drum and bugle corps divx that I can find on the internet. Very rare.

When I was younger I collected dolls, rocks, and stickers...which I still have a ton of. The oddest thing I did collect when I was younger were those Bazooka Joe comics--the ones that came with the wrapping in the gum. I had a whole box just full of those little comics!

I collect shot glasses from different states/places that I visit...got the idea from my ex-boyfriend who collects them. Along the same lines, I used to collect pins from different states, but I stopped doing that for some reason!
I also have begun to collect little elephant statues from different places I've been to...so far I have 3 from California, 1 from Hawaii, 1 from Acapulco, and a leopard and zebra print 1 that matches my current bed spread. I collect them since elephants are symbols for good luck.

What a fun topic! Thanks for starting this thread.
I collect pencils, too, but one's from different places... all of my friends bring me back pencils from the cities around the world that they've visited!
I used to collect stickers, but I've definitely grown out of that. ; ) Now I have a few hundred sheets of stickers lying around.
XOXO,
Annie.

I also collected stickers and to this day even though I am 30 years old I still can't imagine giving that sticker collection away-so I too have sheets of stickers laying around. I also collected rocks cars and bookmarks when i was younger. Now I collect shot glasses-I have about 70 of them and am working on getting all 50 states.

I collect turtles; it's a throwback from my college days. I have thousands; big turtles, little turtles, happy turtles, sad turtles, a diamond turtle brooch, crystal turtles, turtle barettes, a turtle change purse......I could go on all day
Also, I collect refrigerator magnets. I have a couple hundred; people have picked them up for me every place from Kansas City, MO to Amsterdam. I even have one from the Vatican!
NOTE TO AGGIEAXO:
Hey there Karen! I've been meaning to PM you for awhile just to say hi but I see you must have just gotten home from work or you have insomnia (I'm the latter; an 11pm cappuccino did me in I guess!) so I figured hey, why not say hi right here and now??? Haha, can you tell I'm still a little wired?????

Coffee mugs-- and I don't drink coffee! I didn't intend to, but people keep giving them to me or I get them places. I've just given it up and started collecting them already. I don't use any other type of beverage container in my dorm room.
My favourites are my leaning "Torre Pedente di Pisa" mug and the rainbow one that my Gran used to make me cocoa in.
