The guys at my chapter (I'm an alumni advisor) got 20 pledges during formal rush - the second largest class on campus (the top was 23). But they also have several more pospects to follow up during the open period, so the final number should be higher.

The Pikes at the University of Tulsa got 16 during fall rush, which was the second most on campus (Sigma Chi got 17).
The chapter also signed one member of the pitiful University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team, which is something like the second worst D1 school for football. Not that any of this is worth bragging about, except that not many varsity athletes join fraternities and the one who signed Pike is awesome.

Arizona and Georgia
U-Arizona's website says they got 48 fall pledges. Georgia's website says they got 21. Sounds smallish for them.

UF got 35 of the best studs the freshman UF class had to offer. I got back into the country friday and dipped out to Gainesville for the weekend. The chapter finally got a rush chairman from South Florida. He recruited heavily.
From what I was told there were many men that wanted to get bids. He, the rush chairman, chose to have a smaller pledge class inorder bring in the kind of men the chapter wanted. They're an awesome group of guys. They've set some high goals. They remind me of our pledge class. It won't be long before the chapter is back on top as #1 at UF.
One thing I liked about the new pledge class was the fact that they've made it mandatory for eveyone to go up 5 pounds a week in their bench press. For some 5 pounds isn't nothing, but for others it's a challenge.
I'm glad to see your chapters are doing well.

Coastal Carolina Outcome
At Coastal we ended up with 38 solid guys. Started off with over 60 and weeded out the jokers. Compared to other frats on campus we got 20 more pledges than the closest other frats pledge class. We are already the biggest on campus by about 18. Any pikes interested in some of the stuff we used to recruit, please email me rparten1@coastal.edu

Sorry to invade your board, but does anyone know how Gamma Psi (Louisianna Tech) did? I know that one of the Brothers was asking for recruitment help on here over the summer....

Obviously its no longer the fall, but Kappa Epsilon got 17 in deferred rush.
We also signed 8 varsity athletes including 7 members of the baseball team and 1 golfer. This brings our total of varsity athletes to just over 20!
