Other Chapter's Shirts
I want shirts from other chapters? Do you usually trade on road trips or do you just give a traveling brother with dirty clothes an old rush shirt?

I've wanted to get shirts from other chapters as well. I had no idea how to go about it though. We haven't gone on any road trips, so I don't know!!

You can get them thru road trips, people from other chapters visiting you, ebay, or ask to trade them on your GLO's email list/ message board.

I tried ebay. There were like, a set of 20 but some one else got them at the last minute. I only have like two that I could trade though.

You could usually check a Goodwill/Salvation Army type store - KSigRC has been able to find a bunch of cool Greek shirts in those stores - he'd know more about it than I would.

Last springbreak while at Disney we stopped to have dinner with some UCF Theta's. Before leaving they gave us some of there extra shirts from recruitment. Later that year I collected a box of shirts and sent them to UCF (I hope they got them). But if you send some somewhere they might send you some or if you just call and ask if they have any left overs that they might want to trade. I love the two shirts I got because only two other girls in our chapter have them.

Fortunately, there are about 10 chapters within 4 hours of us, so theres always the road trip option, but the best way is to go to regional meetings or the national convention. Our national meeting usually has a tiem and place set up for tradign purposes, we would always take our spares that we had left over, and trade, then bring the trades home. If you dont have shirts to trade, I am sure cash would be acceptable. THe shirts we trade, we bring back and give as awards for academics, etc.
Best of luck.
PS: As your tiem in the membership grows, so will your shirt collection. Between my house, trades, sorority mixers, formals, greek weeks and date nights I have about 30.

when my boyfriend went to conference for his GLO, he found that several chapters were glad to have "trading shirts" so they could also get other chapter shirts
