Question Dating non-greeks

I was just curious on everyone's take on fraternity guys that date girls that aren't in a sorority. It seems a lot of times that greeks naturally hook up, given their obvious similarities. However, there are some of us (men and women) who date outside of GLO's. My girlfriend isn't in a sorority (though I won't disclose her reasons why) and occasionally we'll get into a discussion about why she isn't in a greek org. and it seems she's a little insecure about being sort of an "outsider" whenever we have date parties, regular parties, etc. I assure her, after joking about it a bit, that it doesn't matter to me but she never seems satisfied. Anyone else out there have a take on the greek-nongreek dating scenario?

Honestly, I'm not usually attracted to Greek boys on my campus anymore. I'm not goin into specifics....but I don't want my love life broadcasted throughout the Greek System here and have to deal with 50 guys who know intimate details that even my sisters don't know....

Don't get me wrong, Greek boys are awesome when you get them by themself ....but all together in the same room .....
NO THANK YOU!!!

I remember when I first came to college, I wanted nothing more than a Fraternity boy. But now....I'm all about respectible men, Greek or not. I'm not a Greek exclusive kinda girl. If I'm attracted to you and you respect me, that's all that matters.

A lot of my sisters date "outsiders" and some of them date Greeks. It just depends on who it is, if you like them unconditionally.

A lot of folks on my campus date "outsiders" too.

The thing is, though, that dating a greek usually helps you get MORE into your GLO.... where as dating an "outsider" sometimes leaves you falling away.

Ha ha how true is that! Guys say girls gossip like hell, but at least we don't get up in our meetings and talk about what/who we did last weekend! Only my close sisters know what I do. However, if the other person in the relationship happens to be a fraternity guy...count on all of his brothers knowing too. We say if you date one you are really dating them all! One fraternity here is really gossipy about what they did last night (and somehow they are the guys I seem to end up with)...we sometimes think they have some sort of email/memo/calling tree system about everything! I swear they all know the weekend's details on all of their brothers as soon as they wake up Sunday!
