Louis Vuitton

Okay well i am in love with the louis vuitton small bucket. Problem is that its around $549 and with tax im looking at $600. My birthday is coming up and the parents already said no and that its ridiculous. I know its way expensive and it could get lost or stolen, but im in love with it!! I have looked at ebay and i could get one for about $400 and its authentic, well i think anyway.

Should i save my money and get it, or is it a big waste of money??

Re: Louis Vuitton

Please don't get it.

If you have to SAVE money for it. . don't do it.

If you have to think about how much it costs, don't do it.

Save your money. LV is a classic, you'll have it forever.

BTW, I love the small bucket too! Will buy myself one later this year for sure.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT FROM EBAY!!!!!!!

It id more than likely a fake, especially if the person is selling mroe than one. The only way those designer bags can be verified as authentic is if you take it to a LV store and let them inspect it. Serial numbers can not be verified and are easily copied.

Eluxury

Eluxury.com is owned by LVMH. It's probably the only online site where you can be certain of a handbag's authenticity. Like Honeykiss1974 said, don't buy it from eBay. Too many bags there are faux, particularly popular ones such as Louis Vuitton or the Hermes Birkin.

As an aside, there are a ton of fake Birkins that those people have the nerve to sell for boo-koo caiche. Losers.

I'd spend the extra 200 and get not only the purse brand new but you know for sure that it is real.

I never ever trust ebay purses!

You got good taste girl!

aaactually one of my friends' family business is a purse store downtown and from what he has told me (not trying to sell me anything, lol) the fake Louis Vuitton bags can actually be NICER than the real ones because some of the REAL ones don't use real leather. So get your booty to NYC and down to Chinatown, lol.

Not that I'd buy one or anything

I think that you should not buy it. It's very expensive for a little bag.

NO OFFENSE, but why on earth would ANYONE pay that kind of price on a purse? Call me stupid, but I look at that money and think of what bills it could pay or better things to use it on. Maybe it's just me, but I've never understood the fascination of these purses. I just don't see what the deal is...especially if you pay so much money for something to hold your money and we ALL KNOW you'll want a different one in a few months anyway.

Go for Nine West, Liz, and Kenneth Cole. Those have all been excellent choices for me and I don't have to worry about them getting stained and stuff because hell...that's not $500 down the drain if they do.

If you really want it, I say go for it -- as long as you're going to get it from an actual LV boutique or from eluxury.com.

I'm so pathetic -- I have three LV bags, and I absolutely LOVE them. They do seem like they will last forever, and I don't regret spending the $$$ on them.

Personally, I think anything Louis Vuittion is tacky and a total waste of money. I wouldn't pay $6 for that stuff.

$600 for a purse is just obscene. Think of how many hours it would need to work to buy the purse. Then think if its really worth it.

I love Louis Vutton. My dream is to own the complete luggage set. If you can AFFORD it, like it, then buy it but just not on Ebay . I wouldn' make sense to buy this expensive bag, only to keep $10 in it because that's all the money you got left

I own a Fendi Mama Zucca handbag and wallet and I love them both. There are both quality pieces that will last a long time and will never go out of style (like LV).
