Cool/cute turtle "stuff"!
Ladies,
I don't know about you, but I am always on the lookout for cute turtle stuff! You name it, I've got it! So, I thought maybe we could let everyone know what cool/cute turtle stuff we find... here's some of my recent ones... (be warned...some of this stuff is really corny! )
My turtle toothbrush holder from Target
My turtle toliet seat cover from Wal-Mart (courtesy of my mom!)
and...I just got this yesterday...At Hobby Lobby, they have big bins of cool paintings to hang on walls...I was leafing through, trying to find one for my bathroom of my new apartment...I came across a turtle standing on on a toothbrush with pictures of floss and toothpaste with this caption "When you brush---never rush!" Oh how cute!
Okay ladies! I know you have some GREAT stuff! So, share! (please!)

Hi Blaire,
Target has all kinds of turtle stuff all over the store. It's easy to shop for expecting DZs as their baby collection has tons of turtles too!
Precious moments has turtles in their patterns
Franklin the Turtle is a big cartoon hit on Public Television, and he has lots of books, stuffed toys, games, etc. Can be found at any toy store
Fisher Price is big into turtles right now with everything from pull turtles to stuffed turtles to interactive turtles. Mostly at big toy stores
There is a little known turtle cartoon:

I have a turtle candle holder from Bath and Body Works
A beaded turtle purse from a store in a mall near me, but I found it online here too (it's twice as expensive online, but mine doesn't have a strap!)

For lots of turtle stuff, go to:

For turtle charms go here:

Truman the turtle is here:

That's all my puny brain can come up with right now

Hi ladies...I was perusing other forums - anyway, Lilly Pulitzer's summer line has a pattern called "sunbaked" that has turtles with sunglasses...they're cute. I have the beach bag and I always get compliments on it.

LOL, Iowahawkeye! I thought the same thing! Our chapter was supposed to wear polo shirts the first night, but we might not b/c it might be too expensive for everyone. I was actually going to ask my Recruitment chair if she would be willing to wear them the first night. Like I said before, Great minds think alike!

I picked up a cute item at Target today. It's a turtle shaped touch light. You know, those night-light-like things that you can stick just about anywhere and run off batteries? It's actually really cute and was just $4!

Hey AggieDZ--I tried to PM you, but your mailbox is full!
I sent a rec for an amazing girl going through recruitment at A&M...let me know when your mailbox is less full, and I'll let you know her name (don't want to publish it out here in public!)

Last year while she was on vacation, my younger sister got me this plastic sign that reads "BEWARE OF ATTACK TURTLE". I love it!

FYI-If any of you girls have a Kohl's around you, they always have TONS of cute Turtle stuff there, like socks and t-shirts. You guys are lucky you have a mascot that a lot of ppl just collect to collect. My mom actually collects turtles and she never even went to a school with greeks on campus!!! When I was looking for a sorority I brought home the recruitment book and she said she wanted me to go DZ b/c their mascot was a turtle.
I have to say too that even though I went AGD, that I really love all your sisters at your EMU chapter and I'm very close with a few of them. You are great girls!!!
