Fall Rush

I love fall rush and all the excitement and drama that surrounds it. What a way to kick off the semester--rush, bid day, first football games, frat parties, etc. I'm going to miss it.

I feel the exact same way. Granted I am actually very excited to be done with school but pi phi was such a huge part of my life during school and made my time at college bearable. I am really going to miss being an active in Pi Phi and and all the other activities I participated in during college. It hasn't really hit me yet ... I think once all of my friends start school in the fall again it will hit me.

Are you two going to be involved in alumnae groups/chapters? I think that this would help you guys missing the active chapter.

Are you staying in town, going to settle there? What are your plans? NObody wants to come "home" after living there. My daughter is sooooo ready to be back at school. The girls who are still in their sororities are getting their pref dresses fitted and finishing up their shopping for dress check. She's in constant contact with her sisters, counting the days.

We went walking last night and all she could talk about was workshop and such. She is MORE excited about rush this year than last.

I bet you will be very happy being an alum. New horizons opening, but still the sense of belonging to something you love.
