Any ideas for continuing education?

As the continuing education chair for the delta nu pikes, i've been thinking( trying) of new ideas that will get members more involved and interested. If you guys have any ideas about topics or subjects, it would help a lot.

Good Question

Check out http://www.nebraskapikes.com for some good Continuing Education articles. I am a big fan of having weekly or bi-weekly articles from Maxim, Men's Health, Men's Journal, or any variety of sources on virtually everything.

As far as actual events go, there are a couple of things that are really good programs that you can do. For example, the Gamma Upsilon Chapter at the University of Tulsa (which has won the Continuing Education Award in the past) does a Ballroom Dancing Class in their chapter house about a week before their formal in the fall. In the spring, they have a clothing rep. from a nice suit store in town come and do a dressing for success seminar. Also, they host an AIDS awarness seminar.

Hope this helps.
