Question Rush tips??

Just wondering if anyone out there has any tips for those of us going through rush next fall. I've been through rush before, but never was really intent on joining before this year. What (if anything) can I do to establish myself as someone that would be valued in a greek organization?

Be yourself! Everyone has good qualities, and every house is looking for specific good qualities. Don't be afraid to play up your strengths. Be sure and get to know the people of the house(s) you're particularly interested in, and find out what experiences they've had that have been the most memorable/meaningful/fun. Identify what you value most, and look for those qualities not only in the goals & ideals of any house, but also in what they do to actively uphold those ideals. Above all else, keep an open mind. The house that is right for you will feel right to you...and it may not necessarily be the one that your friends or relatives are members of.

Hope that helps!
