Five years ago INDIA.ARIE performed in DC on 14th Street at the intimate
venue, Mangos. On this small stage, two other artists filled the room with
soul. One was AJA GRAYDON, now signed to Hidden Beach, as co-lead vocalist
of KINDRED. The other hidden star attraction of that evening was Chicago
native, MONIQUE MILLER. While the times have changed, Monique Miller's new
CD proves that she can still hold it down with her soul contemporaries.

This Thursday at Takoma Station, Monique Miller will celebrate the release
of her new self-titled CD along with the straight ahead jazz combo THE
W.E.S. GROUP, led by DC's own WILL SMITH. THE W.E.S. GROUP has been
featured at the Islander, Blues Alley, and can be heard on WPFW-FM. The
jazz and soul combo of THE W.E.S. GROUP and MONIQUE MILLER this Thursday @
Takoma Station will be a pure delight stimulating all senses.
