Just wondering if any chapters are doing fundraising to help with the expense of sisters attending Convention. If so, share your ideas, so other sisters will be more likely to attend. We'd love to see as many chapters represented as possible.
Well we are planning a big fundraiser with AGR at the beginning of the school year. It's not specifically a fundraiser for Nationals but I may bring that up at our meeting today. Anyways...we are going to have a mechanical bull set up in front of their house. We figured that it would draw a lot of people especially being right there on fraternity row. Anybody else have any ideas?
Oh yeah...definitely there will be plenty of padding. And we're going to make everyone sign waivers any way so that everything is in the clear. I'm actually getting really excited about it. We just had another meeting and everything is starting to come together. I just wish LSU didn't have so many rules about fundraising.
Are you getting a good deal on the bull? Just wondering. The rodeo team at NCSU tried that one time as a fund raiser and barely broke even! Too many people wanted to watch....too few wanted to ride! Have fun and post pics!
You could encourage riding the bull with different awards. Longest ride- Male, longest ride- Female, Most air time, most graceful landing, etc. Just a though.
