God or Bush?
So I was all planning on attending services last night, because of high holy week and stuff. Anyway, my buddy Heather calls me at 3pm and asks me what I was doing because she was going to the Bush concert. Cool thing. Her dad is a VP with Stone City Attractions, the promoters... So 1, we get in free, 2, we get to go backstage. 3, we'd get to meet the band. So I am debating, and I am going to burn in hell because bush won.
The show was good. Got to mee tthe band. Gavin is cool.

No, not becuase you went to a concert. Maybe because when you go to church you put dry ice in the holy water.

OK, I dont feel that guilty, but I was feeling bad because I have been negelecting my religious obligagations here of late, so I was hopeing to make it up to myself by busting my ass to get to services thurs night, but I gave it up to go drink at a rock concert. I dont regret it tho. I had fun. God will forgive me. (hopefully)
Fu*k you Billy O for remembering the dry ice in the holy water. Oooh, using that against me. NOT FAIR At All. hahahh.

lifesaver-You probably gave God more consideration in your decision than a lot of people would. In a way, your post on this board was like witnessing that God is important in your life. You did GOOD!

Thanks everyone. I dont feel too bad about it (even tho my mom tried to make me feel guilty about it this weekend.) JAM, that was such a great way of putting it. You are too nice. Again, thanks everyone.

LeslieAGD - heeheehee...well, its better than trying to compare Clinton to God (that was hard to even type!)...but I won't go there
Life - Its all good - if I can sit through a 3 hour Mass with my in-laws, with my swollen ankles and coughing fits from the incense, all the while making fun of the lady doing the readings because I swear she sounds JUST LIKE Ward Burton of NASCAR, then you should be just fine (I swear she sounded like him - if you are a NASCAR fan you know that Ward -- who says his name like this...Wooadddd -- talks VERY slow and with the most annoying Yankee meets Southern accent)
