It happens to all of us. We acquire STUFF! Regardless of how small our living quarters are or how tight our budgets are, we always have more STUFF than we need! STUFF can become a marketable commodity, especially when charitable events arise.
As they say, one person, STUFF can be another's Treasure. Sure they say that about people's trash, but, on campus, STUFF is more obvious than trash.
Since you are seeking a cute and fun way to raise money for charity, such as a Philanthropy Night, why not put on a Midnite Garage or Yard Sale.
This way, you have fun, get a chance to make the event memorable and enjoyable, raise money for the selected organization or charity, get rid of unwanted STUFF, and by members and others donating STUFF to this worthy cause, it gives them an opportunity to feel like true philanthropists.
It has worked for me in the past, and it can work for you.
Need help or ideas, give me a holler!
Best wishes!
MOPUSA, the Professional Philanthropist!
