Road trips?

Has anyone taken a road trip to any other chapters lately?

I went an visited the guys at Omega Chapter they were great I was up there visiting my girl and the let me eat with them and even offered me a place to stay while I was up there

Sam Houston State University TKE

Over Spring Break this past March, 10 of us went to South Padre Island. It was about a 7 hour drive or so. It was damn worth it. We met Tekes from all around Texas. We made really good friends with our brothers from the Kappa-Beta chapter at University of Texas - Pan American. We partied all week with them.

We all had such a good time together so they wanted make a road trip for our Big Bamboo Bash on April 12. It is our annual party, and is always the biggest on campus. We cover the yard of the house with bamboo and have tiki torches, a live band, and hot chicks running around in coconut shell bras.

I have been quit busy with school. I have tons of papers to write still and the semester is near end. To much to do I tell ya. Finally just filed my taxes today. I move this weekend so I need to pack stuff up. At this rate you won't see me much until at least May.

Last year, we took small road trips to U lafeyette Louisiana, South eastern Louisiana and to New Orleans to visit the UNO TKEs, as well as our normal trip to Panama City, but we never see any other TKEs out there? Also alot of TKEs from our region in Arkansas and Louisiana come down to Thibodaux and participate in the Annual Graeter gulf south TKE softball tournament...Usually about 20 teams come, but lately its been alot of alumni teams, but we are going to get it out to the active chapters better this year and make it huge...........Blaise

i just got an e-mail today from a fellow frater. i might be roadtripping down to the carolinas for a province conference in august.

July 13 - Oklahoma City
August 10 - Raleigh, NC
August 23 - Evansville, IN

All are Rush Workshops to be attended by a number of area chapters.

Looking at going to Philiadelphia/Boston area later on, and of course planning a celebration in New Orleans this coming Fall for all chapters in Louisiana area.
