Talking I LOVE BEING GREEK!

I just wanted to say that I am so proud to be greek!! Last Fall, I was kinda depressed cos all of my friends had their passions... like one was art, another music, another had a sport... or dance... and I was thinking, there isnt anything Im really GOOD at to have as a passion... and then I realized it, mine is being greek! I love learning about Phi Sigma Sigma (How many can really explain the Alpha and Alpha Alpha chapters? I didnt know about it til this year!) I love learning about other orgs, local, national, regional... its facinating! I love the fact that my grandpa, a man I respect and admire (who passed away in 98) was a Chi Phi, and my uncle was a DTD... There are a ton of people missing out on the best thing in the world...
BEING GREEK!

I admit, when I first came to college the last thing I wanted to do was to join a sorority. . .Now I could never imagine what my life would be like without it, it's the best thing I've ever done!

Right on, chicas! A lot of those anti-greek people don't know what they're missing out on! I can't imagine not being in a sorority, or life without my sisters! (And if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have met my amazing boyfriend of a year and a half, who is a brother of Pi Kappa Phi!)

I NEVER thought I'd be in a sorority...I thought I'd had enough of that being a cheerleader in high school . Turned out to be one of the defining moments of my college life. And I absolutely love my D Phi E. So you show your love Angel...it's so refreshing, isn't it

Cool

Yay Ali, you are a ray of sunshine in this dreary old world! I know what you mean about being good at being Greek - that's how I felt - like this is the first thing I was good at! I frighten people sometimes with the stuff I know, but what's life if you can't frighten people?

Wink

33Girl-
I know!! I amaze people! I think I was one of the first to go around telling people "Our chapter started out as a local= Beta Xi Omega! Our flower was the gold carnation, colors were brown and gold and the mascot was the octopus. The wore round silver lavaliers too!!" (why silver?)

And then I go spouting off things about other NPC we dont have here!!
