Kidney Stones

Anyone ever had a kidney stone? Let me just tell you that they SUCK!!!!! Yesterday I had to spend half of the day in the hospital. I thought that I was going to die. Thank God for morphine. They pumped that into my IV and I felt like a million bucks...then I passed out of for a few hours. They other drugs that they gave me were pretty good too. Nothing like a little Vicodin and Darvocet to take the edge off things.

My vacation starts tomorrow so hopefully I won't have anymore problems! Florida here I come

Sorry to hear that! My dad had kidney stones and he was miserable. Hope everything is ok for Florida.

Both my parents have had kidney stones. My dad even had surgery to remove on in the early 80's. Keep drinking that cranberry juice!

OH GOD, that is horrible. I had a really bad case about 2 years ago. I could not figure out why my back hurt so much!! It was truly the worst pain ever, and you're right - thank GOD for morphine baby! Just drink lots of water...that helps to pass it.
