Hi, everyone. I'm a proud alumna of Gamma Phi Beta's (now closed) Alpha Zeta chapter at UT-Austin, and the mother of a PNM going through UT recruitment in less than a month. I may also be the victim of a nervous breakdown by the time it's all over...
I have been very involved with Austin's alumnae Panhellenic group, as well as with Gamma Phi's recruitment efforts in the greater Austin area. I look forward to joining this group!
Welcome! Have you had a chance to see the Gamma Chi house in San Marcos?

Only through pictures, but one of my Alpha Zeta house neighbors is a chapter advisor for Gamma Chi, and I'm hoping that my schedule will allow me to help out with recruitment this year. The house is really gorgeous!
austingammaphi - I was in your shoes just a couple of years ago.... hang in there! You should go read the UT Austin Toy Story recruitment story..... I hope your daughter has a great recruitment!
Another UT mom here lending support. Good luck to your daughter!! It's a crazy week for sure and not for the faint of heart for the girls or their families..dads included...it's hard for them to not get sucked in, even if they don't understand it
I'm also a UT alumna and the mom of a UT alumna. We are both UT KDs.
You are in for quite a roller coaster ride if your experience is anything like mine with my daughter. She had a very happy result, but that was one tough week back in 2007!
