clipboards okay?

I would be from Pitt shadokat... Thanks Siobhan, I'm going to try that PR points idea. We already do the point board for sister-in-good-standing status and the whole chapter already knows we have a huge problem with notarity on campus. Does the point system extend meeting much? Can you just send around a clipboard with the point system on it?

That's exactly what I did - it didn't really affect meeting at all - I passed it around when it was my turn to do my report. Sisters would quietly fill it out as the meeting continued - it only takes a few seconds to fill out anyways. However I did find after meeting was over I had to find out where it was - my chapter had the problem of handouts backing up at one person LOL.

We did the clipboard as well, and it worked great. Unfortunately, we also had the "where's the clipboard" at the end of the meeting problem. People would forget they had it and forget to pass it, and then it would end up having only gone halfway around the room.

hahahahhaa...I'm sorry to do this again, but it is so obviously you laura. When I read the message I can hear you talking....it's really scary. Don't you remember when we passed the clipboard around. We also had a problem with backup and losing the clipboard.
Here's my idea.....
BEcause of your situation, perhaps (just a suggestion) ask each team leader to work on pr ideas with their committee(not typical structure, but i think it would work for you guys) Post the ideas for each committee and have the sisters vote on which team they felt had the best feasible ideas and give 5 extra sisterhood points ( they could be like the ones for sister of the week) to the winning group. So what do you think, or you could make it a nm class thing, or somthing to work on in dinner groups like we used to. You can use it as a sisterhood pearl then as well!!!

Secondly.....
I know we talked about it last year as an idea for formal rush....but for COB why don't you guys do the door hangers with your parties on those instead, it's a great idea and I'd hate to see it go to waste!

Just my 2 cents......I feel that the clipboard at meeting was distracting at times and not everyone paid attention when it was being explainedso they would get it and be like, duh what is this?
