Co-ed Rush

Hi All,

I'm in a co-ed fraternity. I'm in charge of rush this year, and I'm trying to think of a really good theme that will attract both males and females. Last semester was football, the semester before that was the olympics. So I kind of want to stray from the sports aspect of it. Any and all ideas would be awesome! I want this to be the best rush ever.

First, I do not intend to derail your thread and I hope you get some good ideas.

Generally, I never understood rush "themes" even when I was a pledgemaster for APO. I just feel like if your coed is for majors, or for service, or whatever, just having a general theme like "Brothers and Sisters in Business" should be good enough.

HOWEVER,

My one contribution is "007." My chapter seems to have done a James Bond theme once. I feel like tuxedos and martini glasses were incorporated into the branding somehow.

In later years, they started getting more quirky. They were the originators of the following meme:



For better or for worse, that's my chapter. lol

We always used themes like "Superheroes" and "so 90's"
And ditto to 33girl and Sen with "007" and "Casino"!
Usually something to do with popular movies and music as that's something everyone can enjoy.

It's just a tradition we've followed every semester. We pick one theme and all of our events are named after them. The brothers enjoy it, it makes the week more fun for everyone involved.
