how do i leave a house in the middle of rush?

There will be informal rushes at my campus tomorrow. Each of the 7 houses has an event starting around the same time. From what I see on the schedule each house only has 3 nights of events. I would like to visit all of them but I don't want to be rude. How do I leave one house and go on to another without the members thinking that I am not interested? Thanx

All you have to do is explain that you would like to see the other houses also. At UM for winter informal rush there are always housing conflicting with times. But the members understand and have no problem with ppl leaving as long as theyre polite and let them know.

I agree, just be nice and tell them. You never know, it might make them want you more if they know you are looking at all your options.

Don't be afraid to say that you have to leave! Recruitment is all about finding where you fit, so don't hesitate to "shop around". If the sorority you are at doesn't want you to check out other places, maybe they aren't the right sorority for you!

Good luck!

I agree... just tell them you're keeping your options open. (Can you tell I was a rho chi? ) After you've spent some time with each of the 7 sororities, you will have a better idea of which sororities might be right for you and which aren't, and you can focus on 2 or 3 of them and see who bids you.
