Rush starts in 8 DAYS

Rush for me is finally starting in 8 days. I can hardly wait. I am a sophmore at Lehigh University in PA and have been waiting all semester for RUSH and its finally here. I am super nervous but think that things will work out. Feel free to offer any advice or fun tidbits.

good luck white roses!!!! i finish my rush starting tomorrow, and im so excited as well!!! i already went through the first round, and the only advice i have is to be yourself, and keep an open mind!!! everyone says it, but its so true!! best of luck to you!! cant wait to hear your story!!!!

i didnt rush last yr bc i was playing a sport that didnt allow girls to join sororities , i have quit since then though. anyways i really like a chi o and alpha phi but im keeping an open mind

What kind of sport doesn't allow girls to join sororities...

Do they think you wouldn't have time to practice, pledge, and study? If you budget your time wisely, you can do all three. One of my pledge sisters and I did track... track was in the spring and we pledged in the fall, but even so, I think we could have done both at once.

Whiteroses, it's a great idea to keep an open mind! You may surprise yourself, and keeping us posted here on GC (hint hint!) is a great way to journal the experience. It's interesting to see how minds and hearts change when you go in with no preconceived notions, entirely open-minded. I wish you the very best and hope to hear all about your rush! Good luck whiteroses! One of my sisters is in the Greek Life Department at Lehigh, and she says you've got a great system there! As everyone says, keep an open mind and enjoy rush

Can't wait to hear your stories. I grew up in that area, so I think it'll be neat to hear what rush is like near home.
