Well, I dont think this would really help you at all, but I painted my littles paddle pink, because its her favorite color, and then I trimmed it in silver, and did all the writing in silver, because she wears silver jewelery, and on the back I put our family poem, and a picture of us.

I would say, try to make it something personal.

I had my paddle for my big sis done by the Brown Bag company in Dallas Tx-it turned out very nicely. I don't have a number for them but maybe someone else does or you can call information in Dallas (may have been Arlington/Ft. Worth-check there information too.)

the brown bag info

i use the brown bag for all my handpainted merchandise. they're great at what they do, have lots of terrific products and at fair prices, too! visit www.allgreek2me.com to see what we've got available or contact them directly at 817.753.9361. they used to have a website, but i believe it's no longer online.

good luck!

That would be such an awesome idea if you were still going to carry DZ items...

Hey brother.

Did you make your big brother a cross? That's what my chapter does.

I know this is probably way too late...but my dad's paddle (he's sigma chi) is a cross. Handcarved/woodburned. I don't know if you would have the time to put something like that together, but it looks really really really cool! I wish I had done something like that for my big bro. That's just my $.02
